| Workers prepare holes and continue the mpingo planting process. 30 workers from Makuyuni were hired to clear the field, build a brush fence, dig holes, and plant 17,000 mpingo seedlings. The income is a big help to the village, which has never had any organized economic activity of this scale besides their subsistence farming and livestock raising. 29 March 2008. |
